Design Team members have early access to PJ Our Way books and create videos and reviews for the website. What is PJ Library PJ Library sends free, award-winning books that celebrate Jewish values and culture to families with children from birth through 12 years old. All content on the website is moderated by PJ educators.Įvery fall, members of PJ Our Way may apply to be part of our national Design Team. The PJ Our Way website is a safe place where kids can choose books, write reviews, and share ideas with others from around the country. These blog posts give parents tools to help children make book choices that are appropriate for them. ![]() On the Parent Blog, parents are invited to read about each book and find suggestions for family conversations. In order to accomplish that goal, each month The PJ Library® sends an age appropriate Jewish content book or CD to enrolled children between the ages of 6 months to 8 years. Kids can also take polls and quizzes, participate in monthly interviews and challenges, and comment on blog posts. The PJ Library® is a unique program that seeks to encourage Jewish families with young children to explore Jewish literature. That's 12 free books a year! To make the choice easier, every title offered comes with a synopsis and author bios, ratings and reviews, and video trailers. PJ Library is free to families in Southern New. Facebook has turned the All-Access Community into one that is close-knit, and it has become a shining example of how the virtual world can promote learning, laughter, and love.PJ Our Way offers the gift of exceptional books with Jewish themes to kids ages 9-13, books that they choose themselves!Įvery month, from the 1st – 10th, kids visit this website to choose a book from a selection of four high-quality titles that have been reviewed by a panel of PJ educators, parents, and kids. PJ Library is a Jewish family engagement program that sends Jewish childrens books to families each month. ![]() Open to anyone but uniquely special to families without a Jewish community nearby, the group allows parents to ask for advice, share experiences, post pictures of their kids, and inspire one another with Jewish cooking and crafts. Regardless of where All-Access Community families live, one way that they find support, connection, and programming is via the PJ Library Families Facebook group. Those eagerly anticipated PJ Library envelopes find mailboxes on every corner of the continent - and sometimes in remote locales. ![]() But unlike other groups, the All-Access Community is comprised of a constellation of families raising Jewish children all across the US and Canada who don’t live in places with large Jewish populations or who live in towns just beyond our local partner’s service area. As in other communities, families share the experience of receiving PJ Library books every month, and parents lean on one another for questions, tips, and resources. PJ Library’s All-Access Community is similar to many other PJ Library communities around the country but with one major difference.
